About Us
Keep
Dubuque County Clean & Green, formed in February 2007, partners
with individuals, groups, businesses and local governments to maintain
and enhance the beauty of Dubuque County, Iowa. The group is an
affiliate of Keep Iowa Beautiful.
At the heart of KDCCG are citizens working for a more beautiful,
litter-free community. KDCCG’s efforts focus on illegal dumping, litter
prevention, and community beautification. Keep
Dubuque County Clean and Green is supported by individuals and agencies
providing support and volunteers. They include Dubuque County
Conservation Board, Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency, IDNR
Mines of Spain, City of Dubuque Public Works Dept., City of Dubuque
Police Dept., Dubuque Sierra Club, Dubuque Audubon Society, Washington
Neighborhood Association, Broadway Extended Neighborhood Association,
West 11
th Neighborhood Association, Historic Bluffs
Neighborhood Association, National Mississippi River Museum, and
Broadway Neighborhood Association.

Our Long term Goals:
- 50% litter reduction
- Beautification improvements throughout Dubuque County through volunteer action
- Development/implementation of public awareness/education programs
- Encourage institutions and business to develop litter prevention and beautification programs
